Capital Raising Strategy:

  • Identify the firms USPs; performance, portfolio characteristics, investor terms, etc
  • Determine tactical vs. strategic nature of product
  • Develop/enhance the marketing strategy and firm positioning
  • Determine the target allocator group
  • Define allocator geographic foot print
  • Tailor approach to allocators based on ongoing trends


  • Assemble list of suitable allocators with background information
  • Suggest outline and goals for upcoming calls and meetings
  • Schedule introductions to allocators and sit in the meetings if requested
  • Collect feed-back from allocators and discuss next steps
  • Assist with negotiations and closing (fees, liquidity, etc.)
  • Provide quarterly update report on allocator leads and discussions
  • Act as a local resource for the investment firm, typically if they are not based in the US
